Who we are

Gathering Allies Society is made up entirely of volunteers.  We support the self-determined healing of Indigenous communities and their reoccupation movements to protect their lands and waters.

We Commit to:

• Act only with explicit permission and informed consent of the Indigenous people we work with
• Frequently assess whether GAS support is considered effective and useful by the communities we we work with
• Respond meaningfully to feedback from the communities we work with
• Work under an anti-oppressive framework that is inclusive of all peoples regardless of race, economic status, gender identity, sexual orientation, ability, or age
